At the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, the athlete made headlines after scoring the world's first perfect ten on asymmetrical bars. She then went on to get an additional six perfect 10, which made her the youngest Olympic all-around gold medalist aged just 14. The awe-inspiring Nadia Comaneci did more than draw interest, she also assisted in helping Romania establish itself as a world-class athlete.
