Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn was born in the US. Her best-known work is her part as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC television drama Breaking Bad for which she took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Her birthplace was in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting during Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a year studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theatre industry in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as film roles. Anna's first role of note was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. Anna continued to be guest stars on a small number of television shows as well as films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was tapped in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler played the character in Breaking Bad. Also, she starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn also took to the stage to play in the David Swimer-directed version of Sex With Strangers. Gunn played a part in the four-part podcast audio drama, Numbered Days. It premiered in 2022. The relationship of Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise reflecting the exact arc of Walter White's final days of life.
